Florink ("we", "our", "us") operates a payroll and accounting software platform. This policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your information.

Information We Collect - Name, email address, and phone number (provided by your employer's accounting firm) - Employment information (pay rate, tax withholding, hours worked) - Login credentials (PIN, stored as encrypted hash) - Device and location data (only when using geofence clock-in features, with your permission)
2. How We Use Your Information - Authenticate your identity for portal access - Process payroll and generate tax documents (W-2, paystubs) - Send transactional SMS and email notifications (verification codes, pay notifications) - We do NOT use your information for marketing or advertising
3. SMS Communications - We send transactional messages only (PIN codes, payroll notifications) - You can opt out at any time by replying STOP - Message and data rates may apply - Estimated frequency: 1-5 messages per month
4. Data Sharing We do not sell your personal information. Your data may be shared with: - Your employer and their accounting firm (for payroll purposes) - Service providers (e.g., SMS delivery) under strict data protection agreements - Law enforcement, if required by law
5. Data Security We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted data transmission (TLS), hashed PIN storage (bcrypt), and account lockout after failed login attempts.
6. Data Retention Your data is retained as long as your employment record is active. Upon termination, data is retained as required by tax law (typically 4-7 years).
